Town of Pulteney Historian Report
August 2011
Because of medical issues, I haven’t been able to work very much on the Glenview Cemetery records this month.
Shay Pickett from the state of Washington has sent me several pictures and e-mails, which I will send via e-mail to be developed by Kodak at Penn Yan CVS. He has decided to take a breather from the genealogy since he has hit a road block and can’t seem to go back beyond Eli Pickett, Sr.
The photographer in Penn Yan wants me to get in touch with Helen Case Conley Southard to see if the originals can be scanned instead of the copies she sent me. He can do a much better job with originals. I’ll try to get hold of her this next week.
.
Lenora Applebee from the Prattsburgh Historical Society called me because she’s putting together a book and needs pictures of Pulteney for it. I took them over last Tuesday and she had them scanned into their computer. Unfortunately, they were too dark, so I’m going over again this Monday morning so they can be redone.
I called Mark Wright regarding the “Military Wall” out in the hall. He is meeting me Friday afternoon to discuss the plans.
